* Engine Control Module Power Supply Relay (J271) faulty

==== Possible Solutions ====

* Check Fuse(s)
* Check Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Coolant Fan Control Module (J293)
* Check Coolant Fan Control 
** Perform Output Test
* Check/Replace Coolant Fan Control Module (J293)
** Check Activation Signal with Ocilloscope
* Check Engine Control Module Power Supply Relay (J271)
** Only applies if the Coolant Fan is running with Engine cooled down and Ignition OFF until Battery is drained

* When found in Audi A3 (8P), the complete Coolant Fan may need to be replaced. Detailed Instructions and Repair Information can be found under Recall 19D8 (2004439).
