Possible Symptoms
- Electronic Steering Column Lock not working
- Engine not starting
Possible Causes
- Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Electronic Ignition Lock (D9) faulty
- Electronic Ignition Lock (D9) faulty
Possible Solutions
- Check Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Electronic Ignition Lock (D9)
- Check/Replace Electronic Ignition Lock (D9)
Special Notes
- When found in VW Passat (3C), the Electronic Steering Column Lock Control Module (J764) cannot be replaced individually and the entire Steering Column need to be replaced as well.
