18261/P1853/006227 - Powertrain Data Bus: Implausible Message from ABS Controller
Possible Causes
- CAN-Databus related Wiring/Connectors faulty
Possible Solutions
- Check Measuring Value Blocks (MVB) 125+ for plausibility
- Check Wiring/Connectors from/to ABS Control Module (J104)
Special Notes
- When found in 6-Speed Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG/02E), perform Reset ESP & Tip Cruise Control Installation.
- Control Modules usually store a list of their Communication Partners, if this List changes (e.g. due to Replacements or Updates) the Transmission Control Module may store this Fault Code.

- [02 - Transmission]
- [Basic Settings - 04]
- Group 069
- [Go!]
- Activate the Basic Setting.
- [ON/OFF/Next]
- [Done, Go Back]
- [Close Controller, Go Back - 06]
- Switch off Ignition, wait 10 Seconds and switch it back on and check for fault codes again.
