01217 - Side Airbag Igniter; Front Driver Side (N199): Short to ground
Possible Symptoms
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) active
Possible Causes
- Wiring/Connectors from/to Side Airbag Igniter, Front Driver Side (N199) faulty
- Side Airbag Igniter, Front Driver Side (N199) faulty
Possible Solutions
- Check Wiring/Connectors from/to Side Airbag Igniter, Front Driver Side (N199)
- Check Side Airbag Igniter, Front Driver Side (N199) faulty
- Check Measuring Value Blocks (MVB)
Special Notes
- When found in the NAR '05 -> '07 Jetta, Rabbit, Eos and Passat, Please See TSB 69-08-02 / 2011271.
