00229 - Refrigerant Pressure: 001 Upper Limit Exceeded
Possible Causes
- Refrigerant System overcharged
- Cooling Fan(s) are not functioning correctly
- Condenser is dirty or Airflow is restricted or blocked
- Refrigerant System blockage, stuck expansion valve, etc..
- Refrigerant Pressure Sensor
Possible Solutions
- Use a Gauge Set to check Low and High pressures
- Recover and Recharge Refrigerant to proper charge level (refer to vehicle label)
- Check Cooling fans, 'Output Test' with VCDS
- Check Expansion Valve
