- Fault Code stored in other Control Module(s)
Possible Solutions
- Check/Resolve Fault Codes in other Control Module(s) first
Special Notes
- When found in Vehicles with VW Airbag Generation VW8R or VW10G, check Brake Electronics Control Module (J104/#03) for Fault Code 01486. If this Fault Code 01486 is stored, make sure to perform the System Function Test for the Brake Electronics first. Once the System Function Test is successful the Fault Code in the Airbag Control Module can be cleared.
