P320C/012812 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1/S2: Lean Correlation
Possible Causes
- Exhaust Leak before O2 Sensor
- False air leak in the intake system after the MAF sensor
- Failed O2 Sensors
Possible Solutions
- Repair exhaust Leak before O2 Sensor
- Repair false air leak in the intake system after the MAF sensor
- Replace failed O2 Sensors
- Reset O2 Sensor adapted values, see notes below
Special Notes
- When found in NAR 2009 - 2010 Volkswagen Jetta with a 2.0L TDI CBEA or CJAA, a new ECM software version is available, please see:
- TSB 23-11-01
- TPI 2025546
- Required Vehicle Update – 23H1
- Check Measuring Value Blocks (CBEA/CJAA) Group 041-(B1S1) and 136-(B1S2) for O2 Sensor adapted values
- Normal Range is [-1.28 to 1.22] - if out of range suspect failed O2 Sensors
- To reset the above value after a repair, disconnect the O2 sensors, cycle the ignition on/off for 5 seconds and reconnect O2 sensors, clear codes and check MVB data again.
- Normal Range is [-1.28 to 1.22] - if out of range suspect failed O2 Sensors
