16718/P0334 - Knock Sensor 2 (G66): Intermittent
Possible Symptoms
- Irregular rpm
- Drivebility problems
- Loss of power
- Engine damage
Possible Causes
- Circuit G66 short to Ground
- Circuit G66 short to Power
- Circuit G66 open
- G66 loose
- G66 damaged
- Control Module damaged
Solutions
- Tighten Knock Sensor 2 (G66)
- Check wiring and connections
- Check Knock Sensor 2 (G62) and Knock Control
Special Notes
- This feature search for unusual (spontaneous) combustion. The sensor detects unusual vibrations and based on that it generates a voltage. Is this voltage outside a certain limit a dtc will be set.
