02805 - System Interference

Possible Symptoms

  • Automatic Roof not working

Possible Causes

  • Automatic Roof Positions Sensors issue
    • Sensor not sending a signal
    • Conflicting signal from a sensor
      • Unable to verify known good location of roof hardware

Possible Solutions

Special Notes

  • When found in the Eos Roof Electronics:
    • This fault code is most likely flagged when control module is unable to determine the position of the top based on data from the sensors. Please see VW Eos (1F) Convertible Top for information.
    • If sensor data in MVB 002 is correct for top position, note that the J657 "Door Closing Assist Control Module" may have an issue. This is the adjustable striker on the body of the vehicle for the rear lid.
