00566 - Steering Assistance Operation: Implausible Signal

Possible Causes

  • Fuse(s) faulty
  • Battery Voltage too Low
  • Pump Unit faulty

Possible Solutions

  • Check Fuse(s)
  • Check Power Supply/Battery
    • Use Meas. Block group [038] (if applicable)
  • Check Pump Unit
    • Use Meas. Blocks
  • Turn the ignition OFF, then back ON after 10 seconds, try to clear fault codes, repeat as needed.
    • If the fault code 00566 does not clear, the J500 may need to be replaced.
