Requirements
Steering Column Control Module
There are 2 types of steering column control modules, each of them has 3 variants. The type is depending on the installed slip ring, either use the part number of the currently installed module or the part number of the slip ring to determine the correct module for the vehicle in question. If a part number is not listed, contact us and ask for help with this topic.
- Type I (Compatible to Slip Ring: 1K0-959-653, 1K0-959-653-A)

Installation & Wiring
In general the whole retrofit is just plug and play except that one wire may need to be added.
- Wire T20d/13 from steering column control module to engine control module (see wiring diagram specific your particular car/engine).
- Install cruise control capable lever (see parts catalog/repair manual).
Activating Cruise Control
- Change Steering Column Control Module Coding.
- Activate Cruise Control in the Engine Control Module.
- See Engine specific Diagnostic Procedures, it's most likely a Coding or Coding-II involved.
