Possible Symptoms

  • Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) ON

Possible Causes

  • Fuse(s) faulty
  • Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to ESP Sensor Unit (G419) faulty
  • ESP Sensor Unit (G419) faulty
  • Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Steering Angle Sensor (G85) faulty
  • Steering Angle Sensor (G85) faulty

Possible Solutions

  • Check Fuse(s)
  • Check Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to ESP Sensor Unit (G419)
  • Check/Replace ESP Sensor Unit (G419)
  • Check Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Steering Angle Sensor (G85)
  • Check/Replace Steering Angle Sensor (G85)

Special Notes

  • This Fault Code may only clear after a Test Drive where you reach Speeds above 20 kph / 15 mph
