01498 - Bulb for Parking Lamps; Right (M3)

01498 - Bulb for Parking Lamps; Right (M3): Short to Ground

01498 - Bulb for Parking Lamps; Right (M3): Open or Short to Plus

01498 - Bulb for Parking Lamps; Right (M3): Open Circuit

Possible Symptoms

  • M3 light does not illuminate

Possible Causes

  • Blown fuse
  • Failed or incorrect turn signal bulb installed
  • Wiring harness issue

Possible Solutions

  • Verify fuses are good
  • Verify correct light bulbs are installed
  • Test wiring harness, see factory repair manual

Special Notes

  • When found on Touareg (7L):
    • If DTC 00968 is also stored, check fuses and wiring to J519 first.
