16620/P0236/000566 - Manifold Pressure / Boost Sensor (G31): Implausible Signal
Possible Symptoms
- Reduced engine performance
- Check Engine Light (MIL) illuminated
- Poor acceleration
- Boost pressure not building properly
Possible Causes
- Leaks or damage in boost hoses, pipes, or intercooler
- Loose or damaged hose clamps
- Electrical wiring issues (shorts, open circuits, poor connections)
- Faulty Manifold Pressure / Boost Sensor (G31)
- Faulty Charge Air Pressure Actuator (V465)
Possible Solutions
- Inspect Charge Air Pressure Actuator (V465) for proper operation
- Inspect all boost pipes, hoses, clamps, and the intercooler for leaks or damage
- Check wiring and connectors related to the G31 sensor
- Verify sensor readings using diagnostic tools and compare to expected values
- Check and replace the Boost Pressure Sensor (G31) if necessary
