Special Notes
- When found on B5 or B5.5 (1998-2005) Volkswagen Passat: Often seen when mismatched salvage or rebuilt ABS electronics have been installed. Before proceeding with any other troubleshooting, check the ABS electronics part number seen at address 03 on a VCDS Auto-Scan and verify fitment using the ETKA or PL24 parts catalogs or contact a dealer parts department. Also verify the part number on ABS hydraulic block matches that of ABS electronics seen at address 03.
