00821 - Antenna 2 for Radio (R93): Open Circuit

Possible Symptoms

  • Bad Radio Reception

Possible Causes

  • Wiring/Connectors from/to Antenna 2 for Radio (R93) faulty
  • Antenna 2 for Radio (R93) faulty
  • Antenna 2 for Radio (R93) not installed

Possible Solutions

  • Check Wiring/Connectors from/to Antenna 2 for Radio (R93)
  • Check Antenna 2 for Radio (R93)
  • Install Antenna 2 for Radio (R93)

Special Notes

  • On Radio/Navigation Upgrades/Retrofits the 2nd Antenna is often missing from the Factory installation. Instead of Retrofitting the whole Factory Antenna System, the most efficient way is to retrofit a 3rd party Window Antenna like the Blaupunkt Autofun.
