01128 - Immobilizer Pickup Coil (D2)
Possible Symptoms
- Immobilizer light flashing
- Engine shuts off
Possible Causes
- Wiring harness issue
- Defective Immobilizer Reader Coil
- Defective Immobilzier Control Module
Possible Solutions
- Inspect wiring between Immobilizer Control Module and the D2 Reader Coil
- Ohm test the D2 Reader Coil.
- Immobilizer 2 and 3 systems should read about 23.5 ohms.
