01217 - Side Airbag Igniter; Front Driver Side (N199): Upper Limit Exceeded

00588 - Airbag Igniter; Driver side (N95): Short to positive

00588 - Airbag Igniter; Driver side (N95): Short to ground

Possible Symptoms

  • Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) active

Possible Causes

  • Wiring/Connectors from/to Side Airbag Igniter, Front Driver Side (N199) faulty
  • Side Airbag Igniter, Front Driver Side (N199) faulty

Possible Solutions

  • Check Wiring/Connectors from/to Side Airbag Igniter, Front Driver Side (N199)
  • Check Side Airbag Igniter, Front Driver Side (N199) faulty
    • Check Measuring Value Blocks (MVB)
