01220 - Side Airbag Igniter; Rear Passenger Side (N202)

01220 - Side Airbag Igniter; Rear Passenger Side (N202): Resistance too High

01220 - Side Airbag Igniter; Rear Passenger Side (N202): Short to positive

01220 - Side Airbag Igniter; Rear Passenger Side (N202): Short to ground

Possible Symptoms

  • Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) active

Possible Causes

  • Wiring/Connectors from/to Side Airbag Igniter, Rear Passenger Side (N202) faulty
  • Side Airbag Igniter, Rear Passenger Side (N202) faulty

Possible Solutions

  • Check Wiring/Connectors from/to Side Airbag Igniter, Rear Passenger Side (N202)
  • Check Side Airbag Igniter, Rear Passenger Side (N202) faulty
    • Check Measuring Value Blocks (MVB)

Special Notes

  • When "Short to positive" or "Short to ground" is found, DO NOT CLEAR THE DTC. This can cause the airbag to deploy. See repair manual for more information.
