- Check Electronic Steering Column Lock (ESCL)
- Check Ignition Lock/Terminal 15/S
- Check Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Central Convenience Module (J393)
- Check/Replace Central Convenience Module (J393)
Special Notes
- When found in VW Passat (3C): Brake Electronics, check/replace Electronic Steering Column Lock (ESCL) per TPI 2022458 (RoW) and Campaign 48I5 (NAR).
