17088/P0704 - Clutch Pedal Position Switch (F36): Circuit Malfunction

Possible Symptoms

  • No clutch
  • MIL (Malfunction Indicator Light)

Possible Causes

  • Circuit F36 short to B+ or Ground
  • F36 damaged
  • Control Module not functioning

Possible Solutions

  • Check wiring and connections of circuit F36
  • Check / Replace F36

Special Notes

  • Depressing the clutch pedal the voltage of F36 goes to low. If the ECU does not detect this change in voltage, the dtc is set.
