Adaptation

Mostly used to deactivate individual airbag components (see repair manual for details).

Channel 050: ESP-Data (Powertrain)

  • 1 = Front-Wheel-Drive (FWD)
  • 2 = All-Wheel-Drive (AWD)


Channel 051: ESP-Data (Brake)

  • 02 = Front: C54 / Rear: C38 (PR-1LZ+1KD)
  • 04 = Front: FN3 15" / Rear: C38 (PR-1LB/1LE+1KD)
  • 06 = Front: FN3 16" / Rear: C38 (PR-1LT/1LF+1KP)
  • 12 = Front: FNR G60 16" / Rear: CII 41 (PR-1LA/1LC/1LD-1KW)
  • 14 = Front: FNR G60 17" / Rear: CII 43 (PR-1LJ+1KE)
  • 20 = Front: Brembo M6 19" / Rear: CII 43 (PR-1LU+1KY)
  • 22 = Front: Brembo M8 18" / Rear: CII 43 (PR-1LP+1KY or PR-1LV+2EG)

To start the process for vehicle data (VIN) learning, enter/save 02905 as new value.


Basic Setting

Seat Occupied Recognition Control Module (J706)

If the Seat Occupied Recognition Control Module (J706) or the seat itself have been replaced, the basic setting has to be performed.

Enter 30475, to enable the basic setting.

Special Procedures

Seat Occupied Recognition Control Module (J706): Reset

If a repair on the Seat Occupied Recognition has been performed, a reset has to be performed too.

Prerequisites:

  • Seat in normal position.
  • Seat must NOT be occupied during the whole procedure.
  • Seatbelt must NOT be plugged in.
  • No faults in the system.
  • Interior temperature must be between 0 °C and 37 °C (32 °F and 98 °F).
