Coding

Note: When replacing this Control Module it is necessary to perform the Basic Settings Function Test (MVB 010) and Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor (MVB 020) first. This sets a Readiness Bit for each of the Basic Settings, Coding will not be accepted without having done this first! Make sure to adapt the Brake Pad Thickness after Coding the module.

  • 0000?xx: Engine
    • 1 = 3.0l MPI (Gasoline)
    • 2 = 3.0l TDI (Diesel)
    • 3 = 3.7l
    • 4 = 4.0l
    • 5 = 4.2l
    • 6 = 6.0l
  • 0000x?x: Transmission
    • 1 = Multitronic (VL30)
    • 2 = Automatic Transmission (AL420)
    • 3 = Automatic Transmission (AL600)
  • 0000xx?: Country
    • 1 = Rest of World (RoW)
    • 2 = USA/Canada
    • 3 = Japan
