C10E2 01 - Control Module for Electronic Parking Brake: Electrical Failure
Possible Symptoms
- Flashing LED on Parking Brake Switch
- Parking Brake warning message in instrument cluster
- Parking Brake fails to operate
Possible Causes
- Faulty Wiring or Connections
- Faulty Automatic parking brake Motor
- Low battery voltage (may cause component damage)
Possible Solutions
- Check/repair electrical wiring or connections
- Replace faulty Automatic parking brake Motor
Special Notes
- When found with the "Extended UDS fault details" [Steuergerät EPB - H-Brückenfehler] / [EPB Control Module - H-Bridge Error] see post #52 in this thread
