Mk7 based cars like this should support the following method for turning off transport mode:

Make sure the key is ON but the engine is OFF.

  • [Select]
  • [19 - CAN Gateway]
  • [Adaptation - 10]
  • From the Channel pulldown menu, select "IDE00002 Transport mode"
  • The stored value will show "Transport mode"
  • Use the New Value pulldown menu to select "not active"
