Possible Symptoms

  • MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) ON
  • Engine may take longer to reach operating temperature
  • DTC stored in ECM


Possible Causes

  • Open circuit in wiring to Coolant Shut-Off Valve -N82-
  • Faulty Coolant Shut-Off Valve -N82-
  • Faulty Engine Temperature Control Module -GX33-
  • Poor electrical connections (corroded, damaged, or loose pins)
