00194 - Ignition Key Removal Lock: Implausible Signal
Possible Causes
- Communication Failure with Gear Selector Module
- Selector Lever (E313) faulty
- Tiptronic Buttons (F189) in Selector Lever (E313) faulty
Possible Solutions
- Check Communication with Gear Selector Module
- Check Selector Lever (E313)
- Check Measuring Value Block (MVB) in Transmission Control Module
- Check Tiptronic Buttons (F189) in Selector Lever (E313)
- Check Measuring Value Block (MVB) in Transmission Control Module
Special Notes
- May be stored in Combination with 28775/U0103/049411.
00194 - Ignition Key Removal Lock: Open or Short to Ground
Possible Symptoms
- Ignition Key cannot be removed from ignition switch with Transmission in Park.
- PRND21 indicator is not reading correctly in the instrument cluster.
- Ignition Key CAN be removed from ignition switch with Transmission in ANY selector position.
Possible Causes
- The N376-Ignition Key Withdrawal Lock Solenoid could have failed.
- The N376 is loose in the housing.
- There is electrical fault with the wiring/connectors for the N376.
Possible Solutions
- Verify the N376-Ignition Key Withdrawal Lock Solenoid is installed correctly.
- Verify the N376 is not an Open Circuit'
