Possible Symptoms

  • Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) ON

Possible Causes

  • Hoses incorrect connected, disconnected, blocked or leaking
  • Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75) defective

Possible Solutions

  • Check Hoses
  • Check Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75)
  • Check Cam Adjusters as per Repair Manual

Special Notes

  • On some engines, TPI 2016970 may apply. Boost Pressure Control (N75) part number 06F-906-283-D can cause P2263 and/or P0234.
  • This fault code will set on vehicles equipped with a Charge Air Pressure Actuator Position Sensor (G581) when the sensor output voltage exceeds 4.5 volts.
