C1292 - Clutch Actuator for All Wheel Drive: Missing Calibration / Basic Setting

Possible Symptoms

• MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) ON

Possible Causes

• All Wheel Drive Control Module -J492- replaced
• Components associated with clutch actuator replaced
• Basic Settings not performed after repairs

Possible Solutions

• Perform Basic Settings for the All Wheel Drive Control Module -J492- after clearing all other fault codes

Special Notes

• Use the following Basic Settings in vehicles with ASAM Dataset: EV_AWDCQUOD31
  • IDE02906-ENG188617 – Resetting clutch data (Reset Kupplungsdaten)
  • IDE03198-ENG188614 – Static calibration (Erstkalibrierung)
