Possible Symptoms

• Smoke

Possible Causes

• Air in Fuel Supply
  • Possibly due to "dynamic driving style" while tank on reserve.
  • Fuel Supply leaking

Possible Solutions

• Check Fuel Supply for Leaks
• Perform Function Test until all Air is out of the Fuel Supply System
  • Perform Basic Setting (see Special Notes for further Instructions)

Special Notes

• This fault may occur due to the auxiliary heating start up, while all related components and functions are free of faults.

• When found in VW Touran (1T): Auxiliary Heating (or similar), perform Basic Setting.
