01422 - Hydraulic Pump for Electronic Stability Program (V156)

Possible Symptoms

  • ABS warning lights on

Possible Causes

  • Fuse(s) faulty
  • Voltage supply issue to Hydraulic Pump Motor (J156)
  • Wiring and/or Connector(s) for Hydraulic Pump Motor (J156)
  • Faulty Hydraulic Pump Motor (J156)
  • Faulty ABS Control Module (J104)

Possible Solutions

  • Check fuse(s)
  • Check/Repair Wiring/Connector(s)
  • Replace Hydraulic Pump Motor (J156)
  • Replace ABS Control Module (J104)

Special Notes

  • If no wiring issues are found from the Hydraulic Pump Motor (J156) to the ABS Control Module (J104), then replace the Hydraulic Pump Motor (J156).
  • It is noted that replacing the ABS Control Module (J104) should only be done as a "last resort".
