  • Mechanical failure of Camshaft Adjuster Unit (N208)
  • Failing Engine Control Module (ECM)

Possible Solutions

  • Check Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Camshaft Position Sensor (G163)
  • Check/Replace Camshaft Adjustment Valve Bank 1 (N208)
    • Perform Output Test/Basic Setting
  • Check Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Camshaft Adjuster Unit (N208)
  • Check chain guides of Camshaft Adjuster Unit (N208) for wear
