MLB based Sound System (J525)

The vast majority of MLB based models use a 47-Sound System (J525) control module which communicates via the MOST Bus. The Optical Bus Diagnostics function in VCDS can be used to diagnose communication issues.
Replacement
Component Protection can only be learned/disabled using the Factory Tool in Combination with an online Connection with GeKo access. This can be completed online at the dealer or by using a Pass-Thru (J2534) device per the notes on our Official Factory Repair Information page.
