P13D3/005075 - Cylinder 2 Internal Pressure Sensor: Implausible Signal
Possible Symptoms
- Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) ON
Possible Causes
- Engine controller software out of date. See special notes
- Faulty Pressure Sensor/Glow Plugs
- Carbon deposits on Pressure Sensor/Glow Plugs
- If stored in conjunction with cylinder specific "Contribution/Balance" DTCs, low compression or engine mechanical issues may be responsible
- For example, mechanical problems including replacement Fuel Injectors that were not adapted to the engine controller using the Injector Quantity Adjustment (IMA) channels may cause this DTC.
Possible Solutions
- Check/Update Engine controller software. See special notes
- Check/Replace Pressure Sensor/Glow Plugs
- Check the Engine mechanical condition in addition to installed fuel injector(s) when stored in conjunction with cylinder specific "Contribution/Balance" DTCs.
