Channel 02: Distance Impulse

Number of Impulses per Wheel turn. There is a difference between Signals from the Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and from the Speed Dependant Volume Control (GALA).

Distance Impulse via GALA:

• 8 = Standard

Distance Impulse via ABS:

• 43 = VW Golf/Bora/Jetta (1J/9M) & VW Polo (9N)
• 45 = VW Passat (3B)
• 48 = VW Sharan (7M) & VW Transporter (7D)

If the desired Model is not listed or the values might be unclear the alternative is to count the number of teeth of the ABS Impuls Wheel and to enter them as new value.
