Basic Setting

Electronic Damping Control J250 - Basic Settings

Prerequisites:

• Battery Voltage = 12.0 - 14.0 V
  
• No fault codes other than 01087 - Basic Setting Not Performed
  
• Vehicle is lifted off the ground, on a suitable vehicle lift

Note: The values stored in the Measuring Value Blocks below are the Minimum and Maximum sensor values.

• Group-054 Field-1 = G78 - Min value
  
• Group-054 Field-2 = G78 - Max value
  

• Group-055 Field-1 = G289 - Min value
  
• Group-055 Field-2 = G289 - Max value
  

Look at:
Group-003 - Field-1,2,3 - Actual Sensor values

• If the values are with in the range of the Min - Max stored values from MVBs 054 and 055 then Basic settings can be performed, if not inspect suspension or sensors.
