* Power Loss
* Check Engine Light

==== Possible Causes ====

* Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 (N208) faulty
* Mechanical Timing not correct, including Chain and/or Belt timing.
* Possible oil sludge and/or oil pressure/flow concerns

==== Possible Solutions ====

* Check Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 (N208)
* Check Mechanical Timing
* Check Oil level, condition for possible contamination

==== Special Notes ====

* The P0021 fault code sets when:
**  The deviation between the target and actual positions exceeds 3.0° CRK for 1.5 to 2.0 seconds, the adjustment angle is ≤ 3.0° CRK, and the check is performed three times.
** Time after engine start: > 3.5 – 10.0 s
** Modeled oil temperature: -10 – 114°C
** Engine speed: 480 – 10,240 RPM
** Camshaft position adjustment: active
** Catalyst heating: not active
** Change of target position: > 10.0° CRK
