P334B/013131 - Charge Pressure Control Actuator: Mechanical Malfunction
Possible Symptoms
- Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) and/or Exhaust Warning Lamp active
- Reduced Idle quality and Engine Performance
Possible Causes
- Faulty Charge Pressure Control Actuator
- Faulty Turbocharger
- Wiring issues to/from Charge Pressure Control Actuator
- Mechanical adjustment problem with Charge Pressure Control Actuator and Turbocharger.
- Engine Controller software issue with 1.2l TFSI engines. See Special Notes
Possible Solutions
- Check Charge Pressure Control Actuator and Turbocharger
- Check wiring to/from Charge Pressure Control Actuator
- Check the Mechanical adjustment of the Charge Pressure Control Actuator and Turbocharger
- Check TPIs for known Engine Controller software issues with 1.2l TFSI engines. See Special Notes
