Possible Symptoms
- M3 light does not illuminate
Possible Causes
- Blown fuse
- Failed or incorrect turn signal bulb installed
- Wiring harness issue
Possible Solutions
- Verify fuses are good
- Verify correct light bulbs are installed
- Test wiring harness, see factory repair manual
Special Notes
- When found on Touareg (7L):
- If DTC 00968 is also stored, check fuses and wiring to J519 first.
- When found in an Audi A8 D3 (4E):
- A customer reports there are Sylvania 2827 Halogen bulbs (WY5W) inside the front headlights which are illuminated when the parking lights are on.
