01494 - Bulb for Parking Lamps; Left (M1): Short to Ground
01494 - Bulb for Parking Lamps; Left (M1): Open or Short to Plus
Possible Symptoms
- M1 light does not illuminate
Possible Causes
- Blown fuse
- Failed or incorrect turn signal bulb installed
- Wiring harness issue
Possible Solutions
- Verify fuses are good
- Verify correct light bulbs are installed
- Test wiring harness, see factory repair manual
Special Notes
- When found on Touareg (7L):
- If DTC 00967 is also stored, check fuses and wiring to J519 first.
