Possible Symptoms
- Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) active

- Manifold Pressure / Boost Sensor (G31) Power Supply faulty

- Check Manifold Pressure / Boost Sensor (G31) Power Supply
- Check Manifold Pressure / Boost Sensor (G31)
Special Notes
- When found in 2.0l TDI-PPD, check for matching TSB/TPI (i.e. VW TPI 2012601 and/or 2026831).
- Check/Clean Ground Spots
- Check/Replace Wiring Harness for Boost Pressure Sensor (G31) and Intake Air Temperature Sensor (G42)
- Check/Update Engine Control Module Software/Firmware
- When found in the A3 2.0L CR TDI please see TPI # 2020544 which describes intercooler hose failure.

1.4T Gasoline specific notes
- When this DTC is stored in North American Region (NAR) vehicles with the 1.4T make sure the software level in the 01-Engine control module is up to date. It may be stored in conjunction with P0106. Internal ref to ST?ID=108190
