Coding information is found using the Long Coding Helper while connected to the vehicle with VCDS.

Note: This model uses Immobilizer Generation 4D which is integrated as part of the Comfort Control Module (J393). Replacing this module requires Immo system matching as described here: VW Passat (3C) Immobilizer

• Start matching new/additional remotes with entering "1" as new value.

Note: The time for matching remotes after saving the new value should not exceed 15 seconds. You can add a maximum of 4 remotes.

• Press the unlock button on each remote control you want to add, the blinkers will light up to confirm the adaptation process of each remote.
