Possible Symptoms

Special Notes
- VW models using AIRBAG VW6 generation systems have a common failure problem at the driver's side belt buckle assembly. This assembly contains the switches and mechanical lathing components and the wires break off at the pivot point near the latch. The US market vehicles using this system are generally MY 2002+ (1C) New Beetle, (9M) Jetta, and (1J) Golf.
