01043 - Control Module; Incorrect Software Version

Possible Symptoms

Possible Causes

  • Control Module Software Version does not match (is incompatible to) other Control Modules Software Version

Possible Solutions

  • Check/Update Control Module Software Version(s). VCDS does not do reflashing so updating would presumably need to be done by the factory scan tools using official factory files.
