02456 - Line Filling: No or Incorrect Basic Setting / Adaptation

Possible Symptoms

  • Fault Code can not be erased

Possible Causes

  • Line Filling not performed
  • New Auxiliary Heater installed

Possible Solutions

  • Perform Line Filling

Special Notes

  • When found in VW Touran (1T): Auxiliary Heating (or similar), perform Line Filling.
    • Set Adaptation Channel 030 to a New Value of 30.
    • Set Adaptation Channel 043 to a New Value of 0.
    • Perform Basic Setting in Measuring Value Block (MVB) 066.
