Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Engine Control Module (ECM) faulty/incomplete
Cruise Control Switch (E45) faulty

If the Cruise Control System (CCS) was retrofitted, check the Wiring to the Engine Control Module (ECM). Depending on the Make, Model and Model Year the Hardware Signal can originate from one of the following Sources:
- Cruise Control Switch (E45)
- Steering Column Control Module (J527)
- Central Electronics / Body Control Module (J519)
