Coding
2004 - 2009 Model Years
- Rest of World (RoW):
- 0161211 = Factory
- 0161210 = Service (for manual input of specified pressure)
- North America (NAR):
- 0100101 = Factory
- 0100100 = Service (for manual input of specified pressure)
2010 and newer vehicles equipped with the (BCM) 09-Cent. Elect. module have a different coding chart. These models include the Jetta, Golf, Tiguan and Eos and use Long Coding. The [Long Coding Helper] will provide the needed coding information if the original coding cannot be retrieved.
Note: When Replacing/Recoding a Control Module use the Service Coding and alter the Adaptation Channels afterward to their specified Values.

Adaptation
Channel 002: Wheel Set
Wheel Set #1 and Wheel Set #2 may be altered without the Security Access. This channel default is 1.
- Wheel set 2 would normally be winter or seasonal use wheels. Measuring Block 25 will show which "Reifen-Satz" is enabled.
Channel 005: Specified Tire Pressure at Full Load (Front Axle)
The specified tire pressure is being entered without a comma. So 2.4 bar is entered as 24.
Channel 006: Specified Tire Pressure at Partial Load (Front Axle)
The specified tire pressure is being entered without a comma. So 2.4 bar is entered as 24.
Channel 007: Specified Tire Pressure at Full Load (Rear Axle)
The specified tire pressure is being entered without a comma. So 2.4 bar is entered as 24.
Channel 008: Specified Tire Pressure at Partial Load (Rear Axle)
The specified tire pressure is being entered without a comma. So 2.4 bar is entered as 24.
